Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

It's just plain wrong

The customers run the damn show and they know it. They know if they raise their voice they can get whatever they want.

LOWES has created a monster by letting the same customers get away with whatever they want. We return used sh--, stuff that was pulled right off the shelf when we have seen it with our own eyes!

Maybe if we prosecuted all the scumbags who steal from us we could save some money. Or maybe opening at 7 instead of 6, since you know we don't get any customer until after 7. Corporate morons...

Agree 110% See it daily and have records for last 9 years as an installer. Same customer, same complaints, same rewards in free stuff. We have seen several customers get their entire house basically remodeled by being "that" customer. Had customers keep using leaking dishwasher for weeks and allow their floors and cabinets to be ruined so they would get a new kitchen. You can't do that and stay in business.....

Lowe's is known as SLowe's around here. Not enough cashiers or help on the floor. Lots of thieves walking right out the door with product. Then coming back to return it almost immediately. The receipt finders who find cash receipts in the parking lot and pick up the product off the shelf and walk directly to returns to get the money. Thrives who need gas money and go directly to plumbing to pick up a $8 fitting and walking directly to returns knowing they will get cash. Most of the employees don't care because they know Lowe's rarely prosecutes and has neutered their LP. Demoralize the employees much more and they will start handing product to the thieves and offer to walk them directly to returns.

you have got to be kidding me!

if this is in regards to the recent restructuring, you store associates, mgrs, etc have nobody to blame but yourselves.

I have traveled around the country for several years, and there is one glaring issue with Lowe's stores.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE S---S

Having to chase down an associate to get help, never seeing anyone resembling a manager doing their job, as well as seeing associates standing around talking or playing on their phones.

Here is a lesson in common sense;

Provide good customer service, and the customer returns. When customers return, profits rise. It's a shame the majority of store personnel cannot wrap their minds around such a simple obvious solution.
