Exec management seems to be clueless about Oracle's reputation on social media and other websites.
My son came home for the holidays and told me that only the untalented and clueless among his class would be looking to work at Oracle. He apologized if I took offense. I told him none was taken ... at all.
So much for the NCG (New College Grad) outreach.

Your son is correct on that. The super bright students always shoot for FB, Google and start ups. They don't want to work for the oldies (Oracle, MS, Intel, Cisco) any more.
Oracle is no longer an attractive place to work. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Tesla, Salesforce, and Workday are much more attractive.

It's an MH program - everything he touches he destroys - a reverse Midas touch shall we say? Plus the whole point of the program is to reduce cost, so there again what would you expect - a red carpet and good training? Hardly. The whole point of this effort is to cram kids into call centers - who goes to college to do that!
