anyone hear anything about ope yet? I'm specifically looking to see if any OPE specialists have been let go. I've only been with lowes for 4 months and thats the position I'm in so i'm concerned they will let me go in order to retain a longer tenured DM

Demoted to CSA5 for one year then released but you're given the option to apply to any position open but expect a pay cut.from what I've been reading on here long term high paid employees are the target.their computer test has been programmed to recognize this....perhaps this "program" is the source of the lawsuit we are all seeking.im sure they would be willing to expose how a man or woman written program is incapable of discrimination.
well if anyone hears anything about ope being let go please update. im only concerned because my meeting is with both the SM and HR and also that I was hired into lowes specifically for this position and I have only been here for 4 months so I can easily see myself as being expendable. should i be concerned? my meeting is at 430 EST and its with the SM and HR
Can anyone tell me how they handle the pay for OPE Specialist when changing them to CSA?
take it for what its worth.. but i was told that if the position is dissolved then the pay can not be touched.. but if you are demote and the old postion is still available then they can take 10 percent.. again, just what i was told..
Our specialist just had his conversation. He's now a CSA. He was asked not to say anything about it until after the 3:30 meeting but he said it's not a bad deal actually.
Our ope specialist was called in on his day off for a meeting this afternoon .....not a good sign. But I don't feel like they'll be fired...probably just 'demoted'
Well as they say. At least you will have a job unlike a lot of ASM's
yay... that will be weird since i was never a CSA. i was hired on as OPE
Nothing official from me but hearing that position is being eliminated. I don't think they will be let go but brought back down to a CSA.
