And for those like me getting SPIFF's from being grandfathered they carry over to the Service Manager position. Trust me that made a difference for me as I was an appliance specialist way back when we had it.
Okay, in my husband's store there are 4 service manager positions (sales) and 4 support manager positions (ops). The ISM at this store stays the same which leaves 7 positions open to apply for. Each DM who has opted in will interview for ALL positions and the SM and ASM will determine the best fit and place the DM in one of the 7 positions available. At this time only the displaced DM's are able to interview for the available positions. Hope this additional info helps.
No merit increase in the 12 months.
Rotation will change (no guaranteed 2nd sunday off a month).
SSEI bonus will be @ CSA level.
Probably wont get UE after the 12months let go.
Might be some back stabbing to get Specialists fired to open up positions?
Keep vacation/holiday for those 12months.
Any position you apply for will more than likely be a pay decrease but your vacation/benefits carry over.
Have 12months to pin point a position you want (but so are 60 other ppl within the market).
