Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

No loss of job.

For once I am happy it's not me who lost a job. I have been looking for work in some professional capacity since Obama took office (2009) and have struggled ever since then. While being at Lowe's may not be my dream job, I respect the fact that the company is here to make money. If you're not happy in retail, go find a job somewhere else. If you think you deserve a better job, go get some education and change your lot in life. If you think you're not being treated fairly, go and start your own business and see how well you do. This is the reality of life. Life is tough and then you die, unless you decide to change it yourself.

Watching free product walk out the door with the shoplifters... makes me love the family I keep ties with.

I can't figure out if I should tell them to bring a Semi ...To hook onto one of the Trucks in the Receiving Bay.

Should I start the Truck for them...and say thanks for shopping at Lowes?

The companies turned into a *ucking Joke.

Let's not hurt the common criminals feelings...He might get upset.

Bwaaaaahhhhhh!

Also, a company that has sales that drop product under cost. Offer free delivery on appliances that were sold under cost. Losing money on the unit itself, wages to the delivery team, and operation of the delivery vehicles. It's small minded thinking of employees like yourself that this company loves. If you think outside the box and question these company antics, then they get rid of you. However, as "theywon'tlosesleep" said, thanks for a great laugh.

This makes no sense, it's flawed at best:

Life is tough and then you die

Also, this is not the case for many... If you get born into money, you will never struggle. On top of this, access to education is becoming increasingly limited, however, it's more required than ever.

I am not blaming the left or the right for this - they are equally responsible for this.

Get a grip. It is hard to find jobs especially if you are over 40. Full time work is even harder. I started as a part time cashier and worked my way up. It was hell. I used to be in the corporate world making a lot of money but my job was outsourced overseas. I couldn't find work and was discriminated against constantly as being 40 or being over qualified. After numerous attempts at finding jobs at lowes, I finally got one. I have put up with a lot of nasty, unfair treatment from store managers , ASM's and customers but I keep working hard. I would love to do something other than retail but I live in the minimum wage capital of the world--Central Florida. It is not easy to find any jobs here.

I can see the Lowe's paid shills are here to make Lowe's sound great. How much is Lowe's paying these idiots to write wonderful things about them?

Not fooling anyone bozos.

What the idiot who started this thread is saying is this: don't complain...be a sheep, accept what the "man" tells you, and be grateful you can be employed. Losers.
