When they lay off half employees and cut what benefits you had, yea I guess they have extra money to waste like always. Doesn't mean they are doing great or even monitor the GPS trackers. Another waste of money spent.
This is for all you lazy retards. The US Department of Transportation has mandated that all commercial motor vehicle be equipped with logging devices to prevent those drivers from driving while fatigued. Law goes into effect 2017. Of course you might be one of those that missed used the systems that were put in place or destroyed them with managements blessings. If so you will have a rude awakening good luck I hope you continue as you have in the past

Should have done that years ago would have saved the company alot of money. I know my manager is going to be pissed no more vacations with company truck and gas card
It's called accountability. We need it. I don't have any problem with the company tracking where I take the company vehicle. I do exactly what I am supposed to do. It's my job. If you have a problem with accountability, it probably has to do with the fact that you are doing something wrong. Buy your own car or truck and stop ripping off your employer. Respect and accountability go two ways.
tracking is happening because companies do not trust their employees. employees are only there to be used and then discarded when convenient for the company. managers that were once in the field (nearly all of them) quickly forget where they came from. they are so scared of the managers above them that they become yes-men to all edicts from above - even if they don't necessarily agree. management is scared of its own shadow and lacks a backbone to defend the workers in the field who generate the bulk of the revenue.
if employees cannot be trusted to do the job then they should either be fired. the company should shut down if it cannot find trustworthy employees.
They haven't tracked no damn phones for years--b---s---! In fact when someone had a wreck we would pull their cell phone records and NEVER was able to prove anything-NEVER!
If you are using company trucks for your personal vehicle, you deserve to be fired. Good riddance. Buy your own car or truck like everyone else!
GPS has been in many Weatherford vehicles for years! Haha though - I turned mine in for my personal vehicle.....
