Safra Catz is sitting on the advisory team meant to assist Trump in creating/sustaining US based jobs. Now here is Oracle laying off one day before the Trump inauguration? Something doesn't add up. Can someone confirm if these are US based RIFs or elsewhere, and to what extent?

These RIF's have nothing to do with Donald Trump. They have been planned for a while. Oracle is scaling down its chip development dramatically so the RIF's are a logical extension to that)
