1/27 would make sense as it is the last day to get someone off payroll in Q1 with 60 days notice. I have been hearing the same rumors, some from seemingly good sources but they are not confirmed. I know retail has a very shaky future but I don't know the timelines for reduction initiatives being worked on.
You would never guess 1/27 they way everyone is living it up at the kickoffs this week! I always hated the kickoffs, such a waste of money and who really falls for all that rah rah BS anyways?
For months people have been saying 1/27, which is next Friday. Rumors have been all over the place. Most of them have C stores closing and some DM's and SM's being let go.
