Its not on China to say is there a deal or not - they are the biggest source of fraud, intelectualy property stealing and unfair trade. Whole European Telecom industry was wiped by single decission of Chinese comunist party to invest heavily in its own telecom industry and thus distorting the market and giving it's companies unfair adventage. US companies were only saved due to goverment's deccission not to let them in the market due to the fear of espionage. Things have to go back to normal, without this uncontroled globalization and free trade: it is only beneficial for the nations with biggest population. Yes, temporarely it is also beneficial for big international companies, but soon those companies will not be Google, Apple and Qualcomm, but Baidu, Huawei and MediaTek.
Any bad news about China market can soil SM's pants :)
QCOM is so reliable on China market. It's so not unique to be unsubstitutable. If Trump goes to trade war with China, QCOM is a god given target for retaliation. Just think how quick they pay 1Billion fine last time. Buckle up!!!
