How in the world is a service manager gonna control three departments who has never worked in it.

These corporate yahoo's have no idea what we do.

I wasn't a member of management who lost his job but I am feeling the pain because these people are like family to me. When they hurt we all hurt.

What is devastating is they announced it on CNN and we get an email yesterday. There plan isn't gonna work. We're losing several managers now cause they have chosen to opt out.

They have change the way the stores get hours last year and now this. Maybe when the customers start complaining that there is no one to help them with any knowledge.

For the person who came up with this idea: your an idiot.

Lowe's wants Quantity not Quality. See Quality costs $$$$. Lowe's wants to run like Walmart. The idiots at corporate are bean counters. They don't see the front lines. Lack of experience on the floor and knowledge. Now the stores want Quality as long as they kiss the ASM's a--. Make them and the SM feel like they are important.. Me I never did that. If my merits don't get me places I'll move on. If I am not part of the ones that get the position I will end up leaving after my year is up.. So many DM's like me there 10+ years are set to walk out the door. It's a piece of crap company now. Used to be great and I hope the shareholders leave. I know our customers have.. Nothing like a Sat afternoon sunshine at 1:00PM and the store is dead.

I thought people went to 5 years of trade school to be an Asswipe!

Customers don't know more than we do. They just think they do. We laugh at the hack work people like you do. You sound like one of the morons that when asked what size the item is that you need, your response is "standard size". Or you will ask for a 'thingamajig' instead of using the real trade name for the item. Some of us went to trade schools and have licenses which took five years. But I'm sure you could tell me the five parts of a trap or what application a RPZ would be used in. I'm sure with you believing that you're better than everyone you have all the answers. It sounds like you majored in being an a--------e.
