Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

The Destruction of QTL

QTL has many "special" royalty provisions that are specific to its large customers in order for it to continue raping the majority of it's licensees. Now that customers are comparing licensing deals under the cover of regulatory legal requirements, QTL's model will take an unrecoverable hit. Bad times ahead for Qualcomm; this will cut to the core of the business.

Good luck Derek.

Please wake up, I think you are reading too much bullshxt, the reality is that Apple got a second source to dump QC. Don't believe all the people are saying at QC, our managers lie to us.....

How crazy is it to charge a royalty on the finished product when Qualcomm only contributes to the communications portion. The more value customers put into their product, the more Qualcomm benefits. Such arrogance has to stop.

QTL has always been a Mafia like organization, split the company, its time.

@LugqgIY-tne

1Gbps vs. 450Mbps?

80% battery charged in 20 min vs. 15% battery charged in 20 min?

I think most of QC engineers love to see Qualcomm stopping shipping chips to Apple, such that 40% of engineers' time used to service apple for various ridiculous requests can be saved for improving quality for other Android OEMs.

Nothing holding back Apple now that Intel can supply very good modems. RIP QCOM
