Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Thanks Cysco

I was hit in Sept, 2017, I believe this is due to age that I was 40 last year, but I think this is a very suitable time to leave that I can still find a job to extend my career instead of 45 years later. I got a very very good package that is totally more than 1 year's salary including compensation, PTO and annual bonus. because I am located in Asia and have different law locally. In Nov, I received my last RSU from Cysco. To be very suprised, I received another money of almost one month salary from Cysco at the end of last year, I don't know what's the reason.

Cysco is a great company and it is always rewarded as top employer in local. I had much time to learn and got trained online or offshore. After one month I was axed, I got a job in another company as a department head and directly report to CEO and ~20% salary increasing, I am working very happily now.

Very appreciate of Cysco, I miss the time in it, I hope good luck for Cysco and everyone!

Oblivious the OP is paid troll from a competitor. Or just a bonehead.

Telling everyone you work at Cysco, instead of Cisco, is most likely the reason you were let go.
