We had our free lunch today hamburger Or hotdog . I took both and chips, soda back to my cubical ... missed out my name was called for free baseball tix... figures.

My favorite year for "Engineer's Weak Lunch" was when they had
a giant single bowl of chips for people to stick their hands in to grab some chips,
because that was cheaper than having elementary-school-size individually bagged chips.
Apparently, it was even cheaper than having a cafeteria worker at least pull them out of the bowl and serve them wearing latex food service gloves.
I didn't take any, because of the number of times that I was in the restroom, and witnessed people just leaving the toilet stall, toilet unflushed, and just bolting out the door without washing hands.
Just dig in to the chips , girls and guys , don't mind the E-Coli-s.
Yuck !
I really felt appreciated after that wonderful lunch !
At Honeywell, it's called "Engineer's Weak Lunch."
In order to qualify if your name is called you had to be present where they had everyone gathered for for the free lunch. In the mean time you had to sit through the leaders giving out awards and slapping each other on the back.

We didn't even get a "Happy engineers week". Just business as usual.

I'm keeping my ticket as a souvenir of the joy that's been the last 18 months.
Hmm, what site is this? At Deer Valley, we were provided lunch ticket for cafeteria, and is good until end March.
