They eliminate positions by changing one word in the job title.

For example demand planers are now merchandise planners....or replenishment specialist changed to fulfillment specialist.

This overnight name change is how they are ltting so many go saying job is eliminated but in reality it is not.

Just very shady and un ethical.

Then ones left are doing work of 2-3 people let go.

Poor planning....running experienced out

If she was fired no its not legal but if her position is being eliminated then there is nothing she can do. Called bad timing. Company offers COBRA still and that should help but it does s---..

Niblock and executives pay themselves millions. They have sacrificed NOTHING.

THINK IF THEY JUST GAVE UP 1% the hard workers trying to survive would still have a job.

They called women on maternity leave to lay them off.

Is this even legal??

They are paid many millions while we worked our a $$ off and could loose everything.

The best thing anyone at Lowes could do right now is to have their applications in at other companies. Because it isn't a matter of if, but just a matter of when. Lowes will make dang sure you don't retire there.

Things are getting worst, stores are understaffed and service managers do all the asms use to do. The new restructure isnt going to increase sales, its to decrease cost and benefits by handling more pt then ft associates

I agree it has been on a downhill slide since Larry Stone left. Why didn't the restructure start with reducing Niblocks perks and bonus's instead of firing experienced workers and leaving the clueless to carry on.

Why would you have confidence in a CEO that is clueless?? Lets get rid of all the experience and knowledge and hire 2 morons who don't care about their job even to show up. Lots of call outs every day in the stores. So many departments run by only 1-2 people.. If shareholders were smart they would Fire Niblock and hire Larry Stone back.. Yet too many voters don't care enough and just keep voting for the moron on top.
