Just a heads up to the fellow WFT employees. A few of our guys received severance packages but it wasn't nearly what it should have been. After they had a lawyer get involved they received substantially bigger severance packages.
Something to keep in mind because most of us are not safe under this miss managed sh-- show!!

The maximum they will pay is up to 9 weeks. Doesn't matter if you worked 20 years, you will only get paid 9 weeks.
In Texas the amount was only two thirds of what was expected. It is easy to kick when on the ground.
If you are IA you need to follow up and contact the same as the initial post states you will be surprised
Where is this at?
Usually the severances offered will be lower than standard, so that it isn't worth the money to get a lawyer. Not just a WTF practice.
