Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Still with WFT?

If your still at WFT, you can't imagine what its like to work for an organization that genuinely cares for its people. A management team and owners that believe in and trust their employees. A company without backstabbing, cutthroat, ignorant managers. A company that has knowledge and reputation.

If your still there, good luck in finding your way out of the nightmare. I DID.

LAW after WFT doesn't work out correctly, but good try! You've said that:

Life after WFT after WFT.

Please try again.

Life was good with WFT for many years but the last five years were hellish. Today I have a matching 401 again, a total of 27 days paid off as a first year employee.. and a medical cabinet in each floor. Such a joke St James Place removed all of them .

Seriously, if you still work there your full of p--p when you say it's all just fine and dandy. Truth is, you go in every day wondering and worried about change. And every damn thing you do on their computer gets backed up on your private drive! Only that the crap you saved will do you NO GOOD in the real world because you were CHOSEN to be layed off for a reason!!! Future employers see right through it because they wonder why the same company that is doing the layoffs are still doing the hiring!!!!! Get out while you can!! Your better off finding something before instead of after! It isn't worth it!!

Life has been wonderful and purrfect since I left it's been like lying on a beach all day every day drinking fruit juice and rum with not a care in the world.

But I bet when you still worked here it was the best company to work for.

I for one enjoy working here, great people, fun job.

Amen! Weatherford changed me. The constant stress and ridiculous decisions made by upper management turned a very positive employee into a very cynical one. Now that I have been set free from that nightmare and joke of an organization, I can see the light of day. Better vacation programs, better pay, and matching 401K do exist!!! Better employers are out there!
