2017 LTIP - not feeling incentivized

What's with the changes to LTIP program this year? Seems like in the good old days we got heaps of shares. No so much anymore. Not much incentive, really. Management seems more likely to go after short term actions which can impact the annual IP factors.

Most the leadership team at chevron I knew were good at flying halfway around the world for a meeting and stayed up all night partying and chasing skirt that they were too hung over to make the meeting and call me to fill in for them. This happened in Singapore, Nigeria, Thailand. You guys are a bunch of hypocrites and the guys that got laid off were the ones like myself that filled in for you after a rough night out. Lt running the pdc are good people and would be shocked by what their people are doing on the road at night in Bangkok, Singapore and Nigeria

When employees (and those recently laid off) get a 0.75 corporate factor then it's only appropriate that LTIP awards are also low, whatever they were. LTIP should not be a clandestine way to keep the management whole while Joe employee gets shafted. Last year I felt the LTIP awards were high considering a 0.9 factor (if I recall correctly). For a PSG 26, assuming they are vested for this exercise, the LTIP would be worth about $250k, unless you were laid off. Then the award was nullified. Seems like a way to keep the managers happy while the regular employees think everyone's being treated equally. So if this years LTIP is lower than you expected, s--- it up and feel the pain like everyone else.

Me too 1pzo. I think the OP is nothing more than a troll. The PSG26+ management folk may sometimes peruse this site for a laugh or simply curious to read if their name is popping up in rumors. But I also have a hard time believing they would actually start a thread going.
