WFM isn't very accurate. I can still see names from two years ago. I wouldn't see this as a reliable source.

Not sure how accurate that info would be. We have people who were laid off weeks ago who still show up on the schedule.

For those who are AP, log into WFM and click on scheduling editor, then go to next weeks date and then employee. Look to see if your name is still there to schedule with all the rest of the associates for your store. Some AP names have "magically" disappeared. This should tell if you are being laid off or not.

Not all IRT positions have been announced, they are not filling all the original positions for obvious reasons (no money), but every thing will be announced by weeks end

If anybody applied for IRT and doesn't know the current status, then they didn't get the spot. All IRT have already been told exactly what's happening.

I thought the IRT program was put on hold? I know several people in the market who applied for it but was informed it was at a stand still. Definitely going to see a lot of people get the boot. As people said below I would definitely get the resumé ready. The announcement will happen Friday.

Risk level changes are coming. That is why they are more interested in interior theft than exterior theft. Just think of how much you just write off instead of make it a shirnk issue. That is why they have a policy of not stopping anyone once they leave the threshold of the store. any risk lower risk level will be eliminated any high risk level will retain an AP or LP. Get a clue, there is a reason why they only track certain metric and why they remotely monitor the stores

They will not let non AP people know ... that would be opening the door for internal theft .. it will be quiet and quick..

Announcement will happen on Friday, so they can let go who ever is going away on Thursday ... more unstaffed stores and if you don't run a profitable RL 2 or RL3 .. do you honestly think they would just keep paying you? As for the non staffed stores the new IRT (AMAP) position was created to help MMAP and ZMAPP turn your stores back to profitability .

Your ignorant if you think they're not changing the risk levels for some stores. Why do you think they merged AP KMART & SEARS under one ZMAP? To cut costs and obviously the ZMAP would probably over see the stores that no longer have an APM or APA.

You are full of crap. You are just guessing about risk level changes,

Yep. Happened at my store. The front end person tried to stop a woman from leaving with a whole cart of garden shop things ie. weedwacker, rakes, shovels, plants, even a garden table. She stopped her but was fired the next day even though the AP was not around at the time. She didn't grab the person or anything just followed her outside to ask if she paid. I think everyone knows that Sears/Kmart have no security

Would we just let it happen or call the MOD? 911?

Let it happen because your CERTAINLY NOT going to be getting bonus for stopping it

So when this happens do you think they are going to let non AP people know?

I'm curious how we as regular store level staff are supposed to handle theft as we see it with no one to call. Would we just let it happen or call the MOD? 911?

If you're an APM in an RL 4 or 5, you don't have to worry about your job. Hours will be cut for your APAs though. RL 3 APMs and below have the most to worry about.

Do you know this for sure? Isn't possible depending where you are that some APM's will make the cut????

I love how to get rid of employees, suddenly the stores have less crime. Why even pretend? You just want to get rid of people. Although the security at my store is pretty bad except for 1.5 people, I feel for them, especially the mgr.

Yeah, I figured. They're announcing it Friday. I happen to be a Risk Level 3, I'm sure my AP will get cut, and the APM position.
