These so called managers drove Aberdeen into the ground. What a mess and a waste.
In a couple of yrs Aberdeen has gone from a booming district to a deadpan alley thanks to gross incompetence by certain people. You could see this coming so what a fcuking disaster. The good thing is the management of it has now been given to Norway.
If you cant see that the last year of layoffs in drilling has been generated to the benefit of others in Norway...you should have gone to Specsavers

The drilling management Aberdeen had were th cause of the mess they're in now. They were too inexperienced and not competent and if they've left that's a good thing

The problem there is poor management in the drilling service that's obvious to everyone. They have no idea how to run a dept and get no respect from clients or employees

Oil producers don't respect BH Drilling. The reasons are obvious.
Move corporate HQ to BoD.
Put simply, oil producers are turning their attentions to other service companies to provide oil field equipment rather then deal with ge oil & gas....regardless if the name remains bakerhughes or not....ask any person from Nexen, Apache and the like and they'll probably say that past dealings with ge leave a lot to be desired.
What we need is a Trump in charge . Baker was once the best the best in the business and we are now run by a bunch of number crunchers and there mates that couldn't tell what a drill bit or a bit of casing looks like . Let's get back to basics and start to get the right people in the jobs that know what the f,//k there doing .

Hire monkeys then and cut costs
Because they dress nicer and use less hurtful language is the reason HR people haven't been made redundant. The actual work that generates revenue can APPARENTLY be done by any monkey with a modicum of training. HR rules the roost. HR will be in for a rude awakening when the oilfield activity increases. Those left will have nothing positive to say to new recruits brought on board, thus poisoning the well for all.
