I guess that's why the rumor has started that HCM RNs are not going to be laid off. Everyone has quit. We are income generators for the company so maybe management is getting a little concerned.....maybe. The only advantage to this job is that you get to work at home. The pay is less than working in the hospital and instead of working three days a week you work five days a week usually 10 hours a day . Wow that sounds like a dream job to me !
75% of my hcmrn team has quit. They are capable nurses, but have had it with the way Humana is being run.
So all of this is very interesting since my coach and com have all said that no hcmrn's are being laid off and instead they said they are hiring more. Of course how can u believe them ? I don't trust anything they say ! We don't know the truth about any of this - I wonder how much M F can dance around the subject this wk
Thank you for sharing the information from the coaches that are being honest on non recorded lines. I have always done my job to the best of my ability, good evaluations and excellent metrics, but it does not seem like that will carry me through going forward. I have a new coach, mine was let go, this one only communicates daily via email saying "do more" if you don't do more, I will look bad and that won't happen. It's hard to work hard and stay loyal. I just want somebody to be honest, so I read this site and stay alert at work, BUT I think it's pointless and I need to channel all my energy into finding a new Employer. It's hard to come to that realization, I always believed if you worked hard and did the right thing it would be okay, WRONG.
If you're fortunate to have a coach speak with you off the record on non recorded lines for both coach and yourself, you will know the truth about what's going on and it is not pretty. At least 3 coaches I know of have stuck out their necks to truly coach their remaining employees. The consensus seems to be while you're there work hard to stay off radar, but if you can find something else do it and do it swiftly. One coach was quoted saying "sh--'s about to go down!"
humana is awful. work employers like slaves, talk down to you, rude, and expect you to work over 8 hours to complete your work, its terrible and they treat members like crap.
I cannot wait to get another job. It has been frustrating but I will eventually break out. That is the only thing keeping me sane!

And the funniest part is our coach never addresses any of it with us ... all that is happening and how ppl are dropping like flies! Come on be real !
Wow the level of exasperation is palpable. People are soo fed up!
