Employment Lawyer against HW

Can anyone recommend an attorney in the Phoenix metro area that has represented HW employees against HW? I'm not planning a lawsuit, but it would be nice to consult with someone who is familiar with the HW HR bs.

Thanks

Would recommend checking out any potential lawyers in Arizona through the State Bar - you can see about previous complaints/issues and actions taken by the state against attorneys to discipline them. This is available on line. The best attorneys do not have to buy T.V. or newspaper ad space to get clients...

Phillips Law Group here in Phoenix is a big employee side law firm that offers free consultations. However, http://www.workplacediscriminationlaw.com/firing-older-workers-because-they-are-paid-more/#more-184 site notes that in 2012 at least, age discrimination law suits might be harder to win than other types.

Additional comment to the below 1 about early 90's age discrimation lawsuit. AS appealed the first decision adding a couple years to the final outcome. Also ( I was at Engines too) a friend who worked at another valley SBU was also offered a $$$ package of aprox. 5 years pay if he chose not to take the "comparable position" offer. Hey of course grabbed the $$$ offer as he happy with the new firm he was employed at.

In reference to the early 90's age discrimation lawsuits comment; I was with AlliedSignal (Phoenix Engines) at that time and knew several 50 something coworkers affected by those RIF's. Yes, the company lost the suit but it took several years and the outcome was they were only offered a "comparable postition" to return with no compensation for the time they were gone.

Don't get discouraged as Hon allied went through age discrimination suits and lost in the early 90s and lost. Those verdicts aren't forgotten.

We had a class action in Phx regarding vacation and it was dropped due to Hon. Settling.

Go for it!

You work in AZ. You get nothing. Move on with your life. Use your severance wisely you might be out of work for a long period of time. Love, HWHR

WTF?

It is an honest question. Like I said, I'm not looking for lawsuit. HW has a whole fleet of lawyers working against you, it would be just stupid not to talk to one yourself. Besides, before you sign your severance package, it specifically advises you to consult a lawyer (from the WARN act). All you people that were laid off, are telling me that none of you consulted a lawyer (maybe $250?) before you signed?

I would certainly be interested in a class action lawsuit based on HW Aerospace regarding age discrimination. Once again my review was below par based on BS made up needs for improvement. This has happened every year since I turned 55. My boss this year was even bold enough to say when he opened discussion on my results that "You know Honeywell is doing everything they can to make it where older employees leave the company". He also said that "Honeywell is tired of the older experienced workers throwing up roadblocks to Honeywell's cost cutting measures." I have read many posts on this website where others have been targeted as well. It's time that we fight back.

This BS is happening everywhere. USA Today reported that for the second time in two months, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been hit with a discrimination class action, this one alleging it mistreats older employees during their performance evaluations and, as a result, gives them lower pay and fewer promotions than their younger counterparts. Same BS that Honeywell has and is currently doing. It is time to stop this injustice against the employees that made Honeywell a successful company. Who's with me?

Check with your local EEOC. If you're company doesn't have a union it's alot tougher to bring a suit. Particularly in a "right to work state". I don't know if AZ is.
