Everybody else in the game has better logiatics and ordering/inventory sysyems..we are not in better position to compete..and in my region-florida the damn shipping center doesnt deliver everyday to effecrively work this magical s.o.p...whole foods is focusing on the stuff going on in the back (which they should have already done) instead of focusing on revenue, the money coming in the door.notice on the earninga report that we keep missing the revenue mark...explain that rahodeb...moving forward..

This is off topic but how does a site ban a dymanic IP address which is assigned by a DHCP service? The site can ban an IP address but only that address not another assigned if the user either turns off the device or reset/reboots the router, even if I is associated with a MAC address, the IP is a layer 3 device not associated with a layer 2 device so banning dymanic addresses is a waste of time and money.

Being rude to other posters doesn't help in terms of proving your point. It can only get your IP banned by site admins, as they don't allow foul language. Just sayin'

Lol u a f---ing idiot, unless WFM LOWERS PRICES, it will go out of business, they can not continue with its current price structure, you should read the earnings report, WFM has lower its outlook for 2017 and has stated a same store sale decline of -2.5% or greater for the next earnigs report, so which stores would you like to close next?

Cmon, man! WTF do you think we're doing?!? You just spelled out our current strategy, and that plus the restructuring, farrrrr better buying and inventory management will position us for when the undercutting catches up to the conventionals. You literally keep saying we should do exactly what we're doing.

Nope, just a TM who wonders how WFM can increase it's price competitiveness, as suggested in this thread without improving its operational cost efficiencies? A TM who's glad you bozo's aren't in charge...

Wait...Whole Foods needs to be competitive? You mean like structuring its workforce, simplifying its hierarchy, consilidating teams, and leveraging its buying power, so it can utilize the overhead savings to reduce pricing and compete with lower margin targets?!? Huh, isn't that the essence of "greed" that inspired the creation of this site and all it's whining?!?

whole foods really needs to start being competitive on similar items and conventional produce items found at stores found in near proximity. and why are we selling gt's kombucha and dr. bronners soap for a higher price than publix?? why do we have our conventional olive oils(365) priced higher than similar products at competition..driscoll strawberries for 1$ more per box than the other stores. we are losing market share on this stuff. people will still come to get their holiday items and wine/cheese party pairings from us,along with vegetarian options but why do we need to sell a can opener for 15$ when they other guys have the same one for 3.99$??????????

Until Whole Foods gets more competitive on price, they're going to continue to lose business.
