You should know that after the initial processing called labor certification, and the next phase, both of which take only about 2-3 years typically, H1B'sare allowed to change employers and continue their Green card processing even at another company. The only requirement is that the other company agree to hiring the H1B candidate - which is usually not been a problem since the issue is really in the beginning when the H1B initial visa application is made. So no, H1Bs are not indentured servants.

Your career... Now that's the LMAO, just like your bank account.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Cool looooooong story bro! LMAO
How exactly is it slowing green card process ?
Hilarious rant Brah
Actually. This doesn't reduce the number of H1Bs it just makes people who were on H1B wait even longer to get a green card.
By halting priority 2, they are stick as H1B longer.
Perfect for businesses since the longer people stay on H1B, the less flexibility they have, and arguably the less room for compensation negotiation.
I don't know why you white people who got laid off think this is good. Because if you really want wages to go up, you want to fast track all the H1Bs so they.csn get green cards as fast as they can...Because once that happens, they have much more.leverage with moving to different employers. And the more they can do this, the more competitive companies have to pay for everyone.it amazes me how little some of you know how this game is played and think this move was good for everyone else.
Good Riddance
Just means more jobs going over seas
Yawn..........
I've worked with, met, and interviewed hundreds of candidates and, aside from the occasional outlier, cost is their strongest attribute.
Hahahaha.
