Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

E-BANDS

All e-bands are having to reapply for their jobs. GE has done this previously around 2007, the difference is this time if your not in a preferred location, Budapest, Boston etc your expected to move or be pushed.

The big picture is since Immelt has been in charge there has been no real growth in the share price and he has been the markets have lost faith in him.

and there were 10 that didn't get back. They were told their jobs will no longer exist as of April 28. I'm SPB and expect it to hit me too, so I cashed out all my stock options.

Significant layoffs in Greenville and Atlanta. Services team was hit hard. Many experienced engineers just cut loose. GE shooting itself in the foot again with short sighted reactions to the market. When will Immelt be held to account for the disastrous Alstom deal?

This is would be good if the two causing the disaster (Bolze & Immelt) have to reapply for their jobs.
