WTF did I just read??

"The reason: Verizon is betting that the tech team of another ill-fated video service, Vessel, will provide the needed spark for go90. It's a pivot to the "small, amazing" Vessel team, Canter said."

Um, yeah that'll work.

Naa Verizon got what they wanted out of it. Not at the level they wanted but they got tons of data and usage habits to sell to advertisers and rebrand. It will become the Verizon TV service this summer just you wait. Everyone is getting into streaming tv but only 2 IMHO provide what customers want. Verizon will be the 3rd once they make the rebranded go90 their new tv service.

Agreed. It was good read. I have first hand insight, my kids are vz top demographic, they have never heard of go90.

I wonder when vz will just say uncle and give up?!

Good article. It basically proves the stupid and arrogance of Verizon management. I especially like this quote:

"This, as go90 General Manager Chip Canter puts it, is "go90 3.0," and it's probably the app's last real shot to make it. "

Well Chip .... my advice ... go find another job now. It won't make it.
