What is the average pay for an HCM Social Worker?

Alabama, for one. Administration pays more than line work. But generally speaking, you can assume a salary of about $50,000-$60,000 for over 20 years experience....but, people with less experience start out lots Lower and an agency can get two lower experienced social workers for the price of one
What states are lower?
Actually, some states it's still a lot less for that many years of experience
Decent pay? Hardly. For a master's prepared professional it is very low, especially someone in the field for that long. The average person with an MBA makes 150,000 a year. An MSW making 62,000? Not after taxes. Shameful is what it is. And that rate of pay is in all states, including states with a higher cost of living
I have made the same salary for 30 years.
Wow that was decent pay!
20
Over 25 years
For those of you hired in at 62k and above, how many years of experience do you have?
Not enough to put up with extreme micromanaging, inability to take breaks, and inability to get overtime when you can't get mandatory requirements done same day. The performance raises also (top performer on my team) are the lowest I've ever received. 20 extra bucks a pay period... gee thanks. Felt like a huge slap in the face.
I have a friend who was hired in at a higher rate, but she was on the behavioral health side of it and using clinical skills. I think there are pay differences by program....and Humana gives performance incentives based on certain factors, but that's up to your coach to advocate for you within the budgeted amount they are given. I know people who have started in the low to mid 50s and the low to mid 60's....same job, seems it's based on a matrix with your experience....so someone with 10 years more experience would get a higher starting rate
62k to 72k. I was hired at 62k, but I'd ask for more. My coworker was hired at 68k starting.
I was hired in at 54k many years ago. And since I am not shy about asking for raises and increases I make as much as a nurse.
Hired in
Depends on your experience and are you talking hired in, or with performance incentives? Maybe between $53,000-$63,000?
