Rating and SSL Formula?

Is there a correlation in rating and SSL? Does higher rating mean higher SSL and vice-versa. System seems to be unclear for ratings 2 & 3 with respect to SSL. Can a successful get SSL1?

I would say SL1 and SL2 for Promos and almost promos (exceeds). SL3 and SL4 for successful and subjective to the popularity with your management. SL5 for people trending to IR, and No-Stock for IR.

The focal tool doesn't give much leeway to manager anymore.

In years past one could bump up and down shares within ones stock budget, but now you pick a level and based on grade you get what the tool says and that is it. Managers can play within their total budget and giving stock to lower grades gives you much more ability to give more SL1/2 over doing so at higher grades.

You could choose to peanut butter by giving positive message with money and distribute stock to others but that is often flagged and frowned on by mangers and HR. So yes positive E/O usually almost always come with higher stock but there is more stock to give SL2 and I rate cases SL1 to S.

generally yes, there is a correlation between rating & SSL.The former is for the year gone by,while the latter is forward looking.

Higher rating generally gets you more stocks. SSL2 & SSL3 are grey areas...it boils down to how your manager views you
