If you join your next employer before the 60 day notification period ends, are you still eligible to claim severance ?

Technically yes, if you get a job within the warn period, you are not eligible but I don't think Oracle has time and resources to find who got the job and who didn't plus they don't care about a few thousand dollars they have to pay you..
