Rolling layoffs for the rest of the year. Getting rid of any redundant positions. i.e. any position that has three people doing a job they can get one to do for half the price. If you are an assiatent anything, or a long term employee on salary they will be looking to eliminate your job or eliminate another job and have you do double duty.

Wow, 12 years later, and now it is a 1.22 billion dollar startup! Thanks to the efforts of Aylwin and Eddie the company sure is moving in the right direction...not!

And the need to constantantly look over your shoulder is a tool and technique utilized by companies all over the world to bring out the best in their Human Capital as they strive harder and harder to become a world class fully integrated retailer that has moved beyond just being a 54 billion dollar startup, as Aylwin Lewis said in 2005.

There were layoffs last Thursday as well. It does seem like they are doing smaller groups continually.

The layoffs have become continuous, rather than large numbers, it seems. I hear of groups and teams being affected all of the time. A few of us have joked about watching for a black cloak and scythe.
