Thread regarding Wal-Mart Stores Inc. layoffs

This is not going to be a good week

Today Monday was a setting of the tone with a 37 year tenure sr director let go along with VMO leader and an officer who used to run store systems. This is not going to be a good week and I wonder who is running the show. Everyone I talked to said the calls came from the dysfunctional HR division. Or is it California? No one is safe

I heard a lot of 25+ year IT associates getting the axe. Don't believe what the company tells the press.

Guess we know now why Warren Buffet sold off 600+ million shares in December. The nut jobs are in charge of the asylum . Same ole corporate song and dance. Hire in ,come up with some harebrained idea, convince people to believe it,get a huge bonus ,then change companies before your idea is proven insane.

Cultural Assassination.

GTS in India also had long term associates who also had worked in Bentonville made redundant and let go.

Anyone should be nervous if they are older and over 15 years with company.

Sad times

For those whom it doesn't turn out "good" for, perhaps the mono-tone jibber-jabber of B.S. inspirational workings of Dr. Phil will make things all better...
