So, I was laid-off in 2015 after almost 25 years with Cellular One, Airtouch Cellular, then Verizon. I was devastated to say the least but it's not just the paycheck and the other perks I miss. I miss the people with whom I worked for many years. We had fun at work and away from work. We watched each other's kids grow up and went through happy and sad times together. It was like losing family members. I have said this before and I will say it again now; I wish the best for all the impacted employees, past and present, and their families.

My co-workers are like family to me. 10 years with this company and I would hate to lose that.
I was let go in 2015 as well and I echo everything you said.
