Both RSS let go this morning and all reps have gotten a pep talk about how we need to come together -- ie: you have 3 jobs now.
I think this is only the first phase though. Rep cuts will be by PIPs and through disciplinary for performance -- they don't want to pay severance for something they can justify doing. I hate this company.
Furthermore this process would take LONGER than what most would be paid in terms of weeks in a severance.
The pip process has been around. It's not all of a sudden here to remove people. Don't be stupid. And it takes an act of congress to get done. Pip process exists for managers too.
It's a sales job, a performance based job. Hit the goals or don't. If you miss targets consistently enough to be pipped this wasn't for you. You are being asked to hit 80% to quota to never even enter the process. Not even 100% which blows my mind. Then when you are in process it's:
