Google, Amazon, FB and I am sure everyone else is dang tired of paying intel thousands for a chip that is little different than the one intel sells for hundreds in the client.
Lots of new alternative are appearing right as intel can least afford.

Intel's fine. x86 is needed in workstations and servers. AMD have never been able to deliver, nothing different this time around. We'll done fine, with loads of revenue and partying carry on as usual. Drinking, travelling all on Intel bill :-)
Sales are simply booming and everyone loves x86 sever oh yeah !
