I've tried to post this several times and no go. Here's my last attempt.
I resigned and had my last day a few weeks ago and I've never felt better about a decision. I was so unhappy. I'm so thankful I found this site so that I felt less alone in my last few months. It is a toxic environment when you are not free to speak your truths. The numbers are just numbers. They do not show your hours of blood, sweat and tears. They do not show what kind of friend, spouse, family member, coach or human you are. You are so much more than a number. And what you do matters. YOU matter. I'm so thankful to have worked with such kind, empathetic, intelligent and capable people while I was there. If you wish to leave, I hope this site helps you feel a little less alone too, in your search for other work. And for those who choose to stay, for your sake, I hope things improve. If not, remember - you're worthy of so much more. Sending positive vibes everyone's way.
