Waco Trib says we have 1400 employees left after yesterday, really? I had to get a count for a proposal and it was around 1200 before the voluntary rif, so add that one lets say 180 and yesterday was 125, and those that have resigned between both layoffs and the leadership that were let go in private,.... doesn't matter, most of us still here has seen the LTS numbers that are shared with everyone and everyone doesn't take a genius to know more to come after projects are completed. Where is the State or City on this for giving Waco so much money in grants and fixing up hangers the past 4 years with the promise of hiring. Where are the townhalls to talk transparently about the future, skip levels? Oh lets have a steak fry like earlier this year and raise a bottle of water to our comrades that are no longer with us, now that is true leadership or better yet "no comment". ,... oh my was that really steak?
I got a copy of the report from HR for me, it's pulled one time a week and then processed with those that are red being interogated assumed guilty and prove to be innocent. I guess there is a reason the place is fenced in with barb wire
Greenville indirect next. lists being drawn up. get ready
We in Greenville are doing very well, jobs are open, and there is plenty of work, UAW Proud
Us in Greenville are doing great
Lately, they've been sending folks (and their managers) home without pay for minor infractions/mistakes. I guess that's how they plan to save money...? Despite people resigning left and right of their own accord, layoffs are inevitable if we don't win some business soon. Though, in my opinion, we are understaffed to even complete current programs.
Us in Greenville are doing great!
No more shocking predictions I assume from those that add to this line. Sad we spend time on pending doom than the jobs, just turning this into a reality because the lack of engagement and positive problem solving of our troubles. Quoting got us into this issue, not the talent in Engineering, MFG, HDL or Leadership, no way out of it but to work through it, hopefully NY will see we are worth saving, but no word from NY leads to the most negative thoughts of possible actions and demise of Waco continuing as a L3T entity, shame we have so much capability.
did you hear the gate system is down, run out as fast as you can..............
new leadership brought on last year is killing the place, motivation, productivity all the while they think they have turned it around by laying off and ordering terminations and suspensions to make them feel better. I left, it's obvious NY is not engaged and has other motivations for the Aerospace Group, maybe I will come back with the new owner
Minor offenses use to warrant a write up the business is lackluster so they fire people for just about anything they can that the legal department can substantiate. The company is not being lead by good rational leaders right now Jim Gibson isn't a Nick Farah. Jim is a little Hitler
Layoffs are bad for business.
1.Layoffs hurt stock prices
2.Layoffs do not increase productivity
3.Layoffs do not increase profits
4.Layoffs do NOT cut costs
5.Layoffs are a byproduct of bad management
6.Layoffs eat away at the core of even the strongest brand
7.LAYOFFS ARE SLOWLY KILLING America

It's Thursday, maybe you meant like June, July or some other date? What the latest scoop
Well it's Thursday, what's happening?
Anyone on the 3rd floor going this time?
This Thursday, watchout
Say Waco Employees please continue to bicker with each other about time cards... every minute you spend not working allows us to take your business away from you, keep up the good commentary, we will take every job you have... your almost there...
Watch your time card entries. One guy got fired for not clocking training hours. It was a simple mistake easily corrected by a labor transfer form... it's a witch hunt for sure - they're looking for any reason to let people go now.
Felix the Cat--there timing everyone between gates--not buildings! Does anyone think this is how other companies run their business,,? Think again, or go back and stick your head in the litter box.
I asked and got a copy of my attendance, I travel between buildings and didn't see anything wrong with the sheet, my hours were right, you should ask for a copy of your attendance and take a look, not sure if all the hub bub is warranted, I just asked and surprisingly got the copy within 5 minutes...
they have been firing guys for very minor and in at least one case...made up reasons.
Not between buildings but at every gate. It's actually about time they clamped down on the people who still walk out to the street to smoke, which means a 20 plus minute break 3 or 4 times a day plus 45 minutes at lunch. But it's also for people who have to travel site to site to conduct business, and that's just stealing our time to not pay us to go to other buildings for work related business.
Also heard they are clocking people between buildings to help this cause.
It always is.
