Last time they fired ops our store came up 20k off on inventory. I can't believe they would let people back to work.

I declined coming in after I was let go yesterday. I'm not going to let them use me anymore. They just want us to train everyone on what we did. No thanks. They can learn it on their own. They will soon see how much we actually did for the company. 9 1/2 years down the drain for me.

It seems to me Verizon is loosening it's place atop the wireless food chain. They claim to be a great company that loves and values their employees until you interfere with their money making then any value or respect they had for you goes out the window. I saw this company less then 9 months ago lay off people who had been with company for nearly 20 years i watched them tell people that their positions were being eliminated only for the company to bring someone from another location in to that store. It's becoming apparent that money if truly the most important thing for them.

I am an RSS from the kismo region i was informed yesterday about the lay off. I was told i do not have to come in if i do not want to. I can keep my badge and best device until may 5th. So I've decided to take the weekend and get my barrings. This to me personally is ridiculous considering the fact the that we were forced to go to the completely pointless now RSS training and then to be forced to go into the completely ridiculous and pointless wsap training. For them to just get rid of us.

@ayl Do what you are told and stop worrying about the consequences of others. Every region is different if you haven't noticed by now. Move on

@rcx - because impacted people are being told different things. There is inconsistency. Put that in your "loop"

I'm an RSS that got let go from the GL region. I spoke to HR yesterday about this very matter. She said we have to come into work according to schedule or we will jeopardize getting our severance package.

You are NOT to be asked to come back in. You are to use that time for future planning. Call HR.

I'm hearing mixed things from different people some have to come in and some are just getting paid until May 5th but do not have to come in. I feel it needs to be the same for everyone. Side note the people that do not have to come in do not have to use vacation or personal they are just getting paid time off.
