You think they'll do AES surveys this year?

They keep shortening them every year. They're pretty much a formality now.

Also does anyone else believe they're not really anonymous?

Easiest way out on your AES survey is to select all 5's or all 1's because they throw out those scores.

I had always heard individual managers couldn't find out what individuals said but HR could. Not sure how true that is.

They are not. When they made the change about 6 or 7 years ago where associates must log in with user name and password it was no longer annonymous. You are better off not taking it, however, they know if you don't and some managers will harass you if you don't so it's a catch 22. One option is to take and put n/a on every question.

When HR mentions things that only you kept to yourself, you know your being watched. Company cell phones too. They can unmask you at anytime. Remember they were Walmart property too.

AES is not anonymous, it is a tool only for HR to find out who the malcontents are so they can target you for retaliation. You put your job at risk when you complete the AES.

Nope they are not. When HR mentions stuff to you in your final interview that you only shared privately they have ears and eyes everywhere. They are very paranoid

The AES survey are a waste of company money. Nothing ever happens as an result. Misserable associates score them horribly. Once again it takes away from member service, because CM conduct 10 to 12 , 2 hour meetings for to fugure how to better the clubs. These meeting are very unproductive.

Another way walmart and Sams club can cut cost are to eliminate the majority of the GLMS. I can see when the associates first start they are important. Some modulars are very tricky, and if you miss a question it wont tell youthe correct answer therefore causing the associate spending hours on a module when they should be on the floor helping costumers or members.

I've spoken to people about this every year. If you do it from your work computer, then yes, they can easily identify you. If they wanted.

Yes, they will continue to do them. ISD leadership was torn apart after we did the Harvest. And also in years where we did major 'crap-on-the-associate' changes. I expect another down year in 2017.

I think no one is completely anonymous online these days, every website uses cookies and log your IP. But as far as I could understand this site's content and privacy rules (the ones in footer), they don't sell nor reveal your personal info. The exception is if you threaten someone's life or do something illegal, and they face subpoena/court order to turn their logs.

So, I think as long as you don't do anything illegal and don't state something identifiable your self (i.e. leave your your name, or position and location) your anonymity is pretty safe.
