Qualcomm and desperation? Oh how funny.
The main and core reason why Apple started moving to Intel was not some price-pushing scheme or some dual-supplier strategy but simply that Qualcomm has been exceedingly difficult to work with for Apple. Apple is used to being the strong leader in a somewhat cooperative relationship, while Qualcomm is used to being a "take it or leave it" vendor. So Apple has been chafing under Qualcomm's arrogance. If Qualcomm were in any way desperate, they would have tried to be a better and more cooperative vendor for Apple. But arrogance is deeply ingrained in the Qualcomm genes. When a customer wants changes to the modem software, it's difficult for a Qualcomm engineer not to blurt out "Go f--- yourself!"
That, and the fact that pure LTE bandwidths are not the only critical benchmark. There are quite a few benchmarks where Qualcomm lags behind the competition with their modems. Apple doesn't give a damn if it takes 12 seconds or 13 seconds to download a song via LTE.
And i forgot to add, the original issue was, i had complained to justice that vendor B was not only charging me $1 and putting cherry but was also asking 10c more from me for me if i serve the cupcake with a spoon or fork.
This new case from vendor B against me is just a distraction there is no case here. The unbiased judge not corrupted with political motive in a utopian society would ask vendor B to behave and not put on a show and cry wolf. And the attorneys can start driving hyundai

Kids birthday party. My kids and their friends like same flavour and no cherry. Vendor A has those cupcakes and sells it for 90c and vendor B whose cupcakes are $1 each already has cherry. So vendor B has to remove cherry and sell at 90c. Vendor B cries wolf to the justice ? What a waste of money, no wonder All the attorneies in Delmar drive these rollsroyce, ferrari must be laughing their 35)$ off !!! The best part is that nonsense about Apple supposedly being infuriated about what Apple did. Huh? Really? Apple makes a decision and is then angry about it? How exactly does that work?
And anyone with a little bit of industry knowledge knows quite well why the Qualcomm modem was (supposedly) "slowed down" and what the real story behind that is.

Apple is probably infuriated at some of its own people for doing something this stupid. Everyone at Intel knows that the Qualcomm assertion that Apple slowed down the Qualcomm based phones is true. When the legal case gets going, the truth and the actual benchmarks will be a huge embarrassment to both Apple and Intel. Apple will not make this mistake again.
