We were told this week that our pharmacy will be closing in 2 weeks. This make me think we are on the next closing list. Was anyone else told that their pharmacy is closing?

That's very state dependent. In my state no rule that pharmacies have to give notice and stay open a certain period after notice. They closed two pharmacies here in under 3 weeks from corporate announcement. Kmart/Sears will only follow what the state requires.
Usually, there are laws that state that pharmacies must give a time limit to customers when a store is going to close. Some states this time limit is 60-90 days.
So they will start to close the pharmacy 60-90 days before they announce a store closing. This gives the pharmacy customers time to change their pharmacist and get doctors prescritpions transferred to the new store pharmacy.
They closed the pharmacy in Tulsa, Ok., months ago, but the Kmart in Tulsa, Ok., is still open. Who knows what this company is doing. Just start saving your money, and look for another job. God Bless.
Pharmacies are the first to go when a store is closing.
I was at a grocery store across the street to the one that was closing. That store director came into our pharmacy and asked us to take over their customers. Told us not to tell anyone. They didnt want to leave their customers without perscriptions. It was sad but we knew that that store was closing a month before their employees did. food for though.
Sigh 1ful you realize they were talking about Kmart right? Yes though, at one point when the company was rolling out sears grand/essentials, sears had a pharmacy
