National Oilwell Varco says CEO Clay Williams' 2016 total compensation was $10.6 million versus $10.1 million in fy 2015 . Must be nice to get a raise why shutting down and doing layoffs.

That's the way the cookie crumbles. CEOs get rich at the worker's expense. Halliburton's CEO received a pay increase of 12%. Apparently only the top of the pyramid get's pay raises in today's environment.

Why not?

He laid off the army of employers and saved for the company tons of dollars.

He deserved those money.

The more people behind the fence - the better the company budget is.
