Anyone know if there will be layoffs as a result of the 2017 asset divestiture program?

Duuuhhh...look at the financials,
I suspect she was packaged off for a couple of reasons; They laid off a few other vp's so maybe they're trying to tackle the perception the company is management heavy. I also suspect she was held responsible for the poor internal satisfaction survey results and general dissatisfaction within the company.
What's the story behind Jacqui McGillivray leaving? Why wouldn't they make a formal public announcement that she's left?
CVE received a lot of pressure from analysts to increase the amount of their divestiture target. Now hearing 80-90k bbls on the table consisting of the Palliser asset and the newly acquired Clearwater lands from Conoco.
You can't read too much company strategy into her exit. She was not well-regarded.
There'll be layoffs in conventional for sure. It all depends where management decides to sell additional assets. My guess is the entire Palliser block will be for sale in a few months.
They terminated their EVP of HR with no notice so maybe she didn't want to be part of a new layoff - either that or she didn't follow the party line on this horrible Conoco acquisition.
