Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

This Chevron Corp Layoff site has imposed more oversight to repeat posters and the content of most of the replies. If you are being locked out from posting, install and use a VPN Client app to bypass your IP address being blocked or to free yourself to continue posting. Occasionally change the server from where you post to evade being blocked.

I don't think this has anything to do with your political views nor the number of your posts (except for spamming, of course). Admins here will block you if you make racist comments or you are rude to others. And I don't think they care if you post from proxy or not. If it's malicious, your message is gonna get deleted, regardless of the way you post it.

It also seems the admins are onto the use of VPN by some posters to circumvent their new censorship guidelines. Be careful not to choose international proxy servers. Choose proxy servers within the United States instead, else your post may get blocked from being added to the thread.

This site will block you if the admins perceive your IP address to be posting too frequently. They will get around to blocking you if your commentary is vulgar, derogatory or disruptive (or they sense you are a registered Republican) for that matter.

Or just change the MAC address on your router to force your ISP to assign you a new IP address.

Also make sure to browse this site with an ad blocker so the H-1B admins can't generate any revenue.
