The EISP offers will be distributed to the affected employees beginning on April 17th, 2017. The volunteer period will begin on April 24th, 2017. Volunteers whose applications for EISP are accepted will have a last day worked of June 3rd, 2017.

Why give some people 100-130k to leave when they can frustrate you and wear you down? This is all by design. Management is a joke . They continue to pile on more work to first level mgrs and then blame you for ridiculous expectations.
I treated them like they deserved. Walked out two months ago with no warning. Three years ago my area doubled when a colleague took a year off with health issues. He never came back and they never replaced him. Sixty hour weeks were the norm. Couldn't sleep. Blood pressure through the roof. I looked at all my finances and decided I was in good shape and just bided my time.
I saw project after project piling up on the horizon. I had to go at the end of February because my pension lump sum would fall well past what any potential rif severance could make up for in the next 4 to 5 months.
I filed my pension papers on line and bye bye . Your mngr doesn't even need to sign off when you leave on your own ! Stuck it right up their a $$ ! I sat through 15 years of rifs even though I would never have been picked. Needs of the business you know.
If they are trying to get people off the payroll then they should have offered the super EISP with the 50 grand and 2200 per year. No one will take the regular EISP unless they were planning on retiring anyways.
Any word on RI EISPs?
Some inside associates received an EISP in the mail today. It is not the super EISP. $10,000.00 bonus plus $2,200.00 per year. Does anyone know if any outside Krafts are getting the offer?
Clerks in the FiOS store, Cwa were told they are getting a package in New Jersey. 😎 The senior person has 20 years I doubt they'll get any takers.
Clerk titles in PA got it this morning.
Here in NJ the union said it is only being offered to one drafter....and that is all they expect.
Time will tell... I won't count my chickens until that letter in the mail arrives..
I haven't heard anything from IBEW in NJ.

If this EISP is like the last one, not many will be offered and very few will take it.
Will this be for CWA and IBEW members, or just one of them?
Local 13000 sent a letter out today regarding the work groups that were offered. No offers for MA's or FSC reps.
Is wireless excepting volunteers for EISP/RIF???
LOL All depends on your union and IF they will let you go. The union has stopped many of it's members from leaving. Freaking unreal.
How about in the Northeast?
Per our director in PA, various Verizon organizations have a need to reduce force and intend to offer EISP. Volunteers will be accepted as necessary to meet business needs.
