not sure if it's been announced but the North Central Regional vice president has left Macys.

One of the things this executive is quoted as saying is, "In light of Macy’s financial trouble and announced layoffs..."

That's the first quote I've seen that acknowledges "financial trouble". Higher level executives citing that as a reason to leave? Another crack in the hull of the ship, folks.

Get out unscathed while you can.

she took a similar job at Burlington stores. guessing she her leaving being immediate was due to the nature of her new job.

They made it sound very "mutual" during the conference call. This was very sudden, a regional visit at a platinum store is scheduled this week. No one had a clue
