What if any positions are being eliminated Friday at Sam's club ?

if you know something to be a fact then state it otherwise stop with the innuendos and rumors. no one cares what you "think or heard". this is speculation and guessing. it is stressing people and families out.
what was the job title that was removed?
Two people who work at a local Sams have been displaced as a result of a job title/area being removed.
I believe the receiving clerk will go but I still think there will be one in receiving. Who would check in the freight coming in during the day. I have a full day finishing night crews mess, checking in vendors, ups, fdex and and all the other trucks that come during the day. I know people believe a manager will do all that but they have a full plate now and it keeps getting bigger. I will be prepared but I am not leaving until it happens. Hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else but this is what greed does with companies.
I've heard rumors about down sizing or getting rid of 3rd stockers at Walmart stores. Has anyone else heard anything about this change?

I don't consider it a rumor. Receiving is going. Today.. Monday... 3 months from now. It's going to happen. Better to be prepared than to get blindsided like audit was. At least we all have this place to come vent and see what everyone is thinking. Happy it didn't happen today.
I agree stop with the rumors you are just worrying folks. Let it happen whenever it does if it does.
stop with the rumors and gossip. today is friday and no sam's jobs are eliminated. GM is not even here. if you don't know then don't speculate.
It could be any department...why just receiving??? There's lots of changes in every store and club..

Come on, with all the changes going on in receiving how are they not next on the chopping block? I wouldn't be surprised if it was clerk and lead both! Rumor was keeping one auditor and look what happened there? I am so angry with this company right now.... I already trashed my Sam's card and refuse to shop at Walmart anymore. Amazon 100% for me now. Items I need right away can be bought elsewhere. Haven't been in one since they got rid of audit. And currently looking for a new job because this is place is going nowhere but down hill!
Why would they layoff audit then let things cool down then get rid of someone else 3 weeks later?
Who posts this stuff any way? Is it someone that really knows or is it someone just wanting to stir things up?

If you don't know for sure then you shouldn't be spreading rumors,,,this is affecting a lot of people and there families,,
