HBS FURLOUGH AND RIF

what's going on in HBS. Saw reps going on furlough as well as employees taking early retirement as forced. Is there any deal going on?

Year over year sales are down. That = less people needed. Does anyone know anyone who is trying to increase sales? Did they mention sales were down?

Of course they are manipulating things. They've been doing that for a while now.

The earnings call and the town hall Friday April 21 2107 said all the numbers were great. There should be no need for forloughs or RIFs or pension cuts unless they are manipulating things to make business appear better than it really is. Perhaps for divestiture or mega merger??

Not in the least. If a customer gets upset, then they have cause to get rid of the employee who caused it. Unhappy customers means more of the higher priced employees get fired. A win-win, or lose-lose, win-lose, something like that.

What about the CUSTOMERS? Does Honeywell care about any impact on them? :>(
