As a SM I can say:

The store is understaffed.

We simply demand too much from our underpaid associate for them to care. (plenti, credit, cause marketing, my client all before you ring one item)

VPSMs think that giving a sweet treat to a 40 year for a credit is not a little juvenile.

Trust me they have fired VPSM for low scores be honest in the survey. Funny use to be in April and now June. They are hoping dust will settle lol

It will be as consise as the skewed questions allows it to be. Even the engagement committee is a joke. Everyone is on board until they have to act on every thing they just complained about.

i am not sure where you are, but we were told that the survey will not be coming out until june. we were told that they are using a new company and it is going to be a more concise survey.

Ah, the engagement survey. Allegedly anonymous, but not really. One has to give his associate ID to get it started. Anyone who believes that's not recorded is naive. We do this every year, get the same answers and then take the same corrective measures. And by that, I mean we do nothing. Commissioned floors are not equitable. Shenanigans take place that impact income in a negative fashion for some. Long tenured associates do what they want, when they want. No accountability. It's absolutely stupid.

Why not simply recycle the answers from the past 5 years. They'd be exactly the same anyway.

Could not have said it better myself! Oh, now, don't forget to finish up the reviews.... for Associates you don't really know because their SM was displaced so now you have double the Associates to "coach and develop."

Just worked today (Sunday) from 8:00 AM until almost 6:30 with nothing more than a 10 minute break all day. But, hey, the important thing is we made Loyalty and presale goals!
