25 years at VZ landline and have never had an Eisp explanation pamphlet sent to my home.
Now I have one.
What does that mean?

I was mgmnt and left two months ago. I asked to be on the rif list last year but nothing happened. Manager told me they were talking about a rif this April. I told him bye bye because I would lose more money watching the Gatt (interest) rate climb over the next 6 months then a standard rif for mgmnt could replace. There is no reason why mgmnt people can't have a standard rif pkg available any time to leave. I saw incompetent people leave for years getting at least 35 weeks of salary and 6 months of health care coverage.
He was shocked that I was leaving. 29 years working for this company and the last 15 pure Hell. Every person that left before me was never replaced and all the work was dumped on the people that remained. I told him the only reason I stayed this long was paying for my daughter's college.
If you have worked a lot of years and you are in your late fifties or sixties , you should be talking to good financial people to assess your financial position . Leave this $hit outfit and enjoy your life.
Higher interest rates= lower lump sum, that's why people are leaving.
Techs are leaving without an EISP. We had two leave so far this year, 30 year people. We are already so busy we are forced daily for at least 2 hours every night.
I know some were hoping that information was a sign of things to come. Some inside titles received an offer. So far nothing has been offered for outside Krafts and it wouldn't surprise me at all if something shows up in the mail.
That was sent weeks ago. I was hoping that meant one would be offered if that was sent. Who knows at this point? Everything in that book was the same. Nothing changed. Don't know why they spent the money to send it out of there no changes taking place.
Probably means nothing. The rumor was for an April eisp, and April is almost over. If you have over 30 years and decided to wait for the “next one” yet again, I think you’ll be waiting for a long time if you’re a field technician. They’ll need to hire soon, not give out extra money to techs that want to leave.
I was hoping it meant an EISP was on the way. I don't think that's happening. I haven't heard anything.
