Well it is official. Reorg and my position no longer exists. 5 in my immediate area. Pretty sh--ty how you're escorted back to your desk to get personal belongings. One girl just crying..just closed on a new house. Fml. Took my sh-- with me to my layoff meeting to minimize humiliation.

Yeah right like DM would actually read anything that gives him good advice. Walmart is on its way out. You can't buy innovation. DM is just trying to get his $$$ before he gets fired when Marc Lore leaves in 2-5 years. Walmart and their leadership is a bunch of idiots just collecting an easy paychecks off the backs of their people.

What the heck would they be doing in merchandising? I heard there was a reorg but surely not layoffs? There's not enough people as it is.

Well I got a planner from my VP entitled "organizational update" tomorrow...obvious what it is...
You know it's really sad how the company can just get rid of positions they shouldn't have created them in the first place ....the company would be where they are with out long term associates they are the knowledge of the company .i just wonder if the CEO looks a web site like this quit cutting job you are hurting the moral in the clubs and stores.....hard to do a great job when u never know if u are next !!! Maybe they should take a pay cut and they would be able to afford more associates salary....just saying CEO please read!!! Take it in to consideration
