I've been a SYW Member since 2010 and have always had good luck with the program and the SYW 800 # has always been helpful until today. I printed a coupon emailed to me by SYW and the barcode wouldn't scan. The Manager on Duty told me that my coupon wasn't issued by Kmart as they don't email out coupons any longer and that Kmart in general will not be participating in SYW much longer. She also stated that her store is no longer accepting SYW coupons. The store isn't closing, so it's puzzling to me. Needless to say she was rude and clearly didn't care, so sadly I left $78 of merchandise and went elsewhere in frustration.
I called the SYW 800 # and asked if what I was told is true and was put on hold for a long time. The associate returned and told me that select Kmart stores are no longer participating in the program. I asked if a list exists and was told no and that to check with individuals stores as to their participation.
Seems odd to me. Has anyone heard if Kmart is slowly dropping out of SYW?
